Professorship for Translational Immune Dermatology

Prof. Dr. med. Carolin Bosch-Voskens

Research Focus: Investigation of immunotherapeutic strategies against cancer and autoimmune diseases. The active principle is based on the direct or indirect manipulation of various cell subtypes of the immune system.

Location: FAU, Erlangen

Junior – Professorship for Systemic Immunology

Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Anna Lippert

Research Focus: Her research aims to understand the influence of physical parameters such as tissue stiffness on migration and activation of immune cells in health and disease, such as autoimmune disorder, settings.

Location: JMU (Würzburg), FAU (Erlangen), UR (Regensburg)

Professorship for Modelling of Immune Processes

Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Frederik Graw

Research Focus: •Investigation of fundamental processes of activation, differentiation, migration, effectiveness and regulation of cellular immune responses (B cells, T cells), especially in the field of allogeneic stem cell transplantation in patients with haematological neoplasms and tumour immunology, but also for the development of optimal vaccination strategies against pathogenic agents.

Location: FAU, Erlangen

Professorship for Immune Cell – Tissue Interactions

Recruitment ongoing since 07/2023

Research Focus: Investigation how immune surveillance of tissues contributes to maintaining their integrity, how repair processes are regulated following tissue damage, and how such immune mechanisms can be used to reinforce insufficient immune surveillance or to suppress excessive immune responses.

Location: UR, Regensburg
